The rural communities we work with are heavily marginalised - and we place great importance on ensuring that our work is not only inclusive, but respectful and accruing of their communities. We work closely with them to co-design continuous learning and improvement.
Opportunity Description
Hands on India is seeking a highly organised volunteer with strong admin and project coordination skills to help organise our annual 2 week volunteer trip to rural India in February 2027.
The role includes coordinating participant applications, managing communication with the team, tracking payments and documentation, and organising travel logistics so everything runs smoothly before departure.
The role requires approx 2–4 hours per week (April–Jan), increasing to around 6 hours per week in Nov–Dec.
This is a remote role with flexible hours. It is predicted that the commitment will be 2 - 4 hours a week until Nov/Dec and then 4 - 6 hours per week for remainder.
This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a program delivering health camps and community initiatives in remote India. The coordinator will also have the opportunity to join the trip and see firsthand the impact of the work.
