Sew Joey Pouches
Organisation Description
Melrose Wildlife provide Rescue, Rehabilitation and Release services throughout the Gippsland region & beyond.
We are a volunteer service and all our animals are cared for until they are ready for release. This is all done with no funding, only with donations from our caring community, which we value very much and appreciate.
As we rescue more animals ongoing costs escalate with fuel, formulas, hard feed, vet bills and medication. All donations go directly towards the care of our Native Wildlife. So if you feel you'd like to contribute, you can directly deposit into our Melrose Wildlife Account.
We appreciate any help you can give us & all donations over $2 are tax deductible. Thank you for your support :)

Opportunity Description
We require joey pouches for the little joeys we rescue. We need 3 sizes on hand at all times. Small, Medium and Large.
This job is for 10 Joey pouches - You will be required to supply material and have your own sewing machine. Material is ideally flannelette for the liners and something warm like fleece for the outer layer ... often op-shops and material store remnants can be a good for supply.
We will send you the patten and the address to drop off or post to.
This is a work from home job to be completed in your own time.
Instructions for the Joey pouch are in the link below.
Preferences are for the Large Size Pouch liners in a flannel material. But anything is welcome.
